Vr6 turbo with Kdfi v1.4 PnP

Beitrag von fredoux »

Hello,
First of all, excuse me in advance because I do not speak German and I block for several weeks on this problem.

I am contacting you for information on Kdfi equipment.
I bought a kdFi V1.4 PNP VW AAA calculator (VR6) but I have a problem to start the engine (Golf 3 vr6 turbo).
Indeed, I am in wasted spark like this :
http://www.strperformance.com/4625-larg ... 8l-29l.jpg

Does it work too or does it absolutely need the ABV kdfi?

With the original vr6 OEM calculator the car starts without problem so it is not a problem of setup.
The sensor Vr/hall is new (same pb)

Thanks for your support (in english please or i traduct with google).

Which pattern does your trigger wheel have? The second peak indicates a second gap. Is it really a x-1-1 or a more conventional x-1 wheel?

Dominik

Yes, but this does not answer my question ;-) Is it a 60-2, 36-1 or what ever trigger wheel? The tooth logger must correlate with the pattern.

In case of a 60-2 wheel it should look like this:

36-1

Then you have to sort out your trigger issues! Is it a hall or vr sensor at the crank?

Btw.: The german translation is crap. I assume it's not very different with the french one :-) Hence most people prefer the original english language version...

No pb !
My engine sensor RPM : Bosch 0261 210 107
And this : http://www.strperformance.com/5715-thic ... 8l-29l.jpg

It's VR

Or can I find a startup file vr6 turbo turbo if I give you my configuration. The mappers do not arrive and maybe I can compare with a functional config

It's essential to have a proper tooth logging. You have to sort out the trigger signal issue and clarify the reason for the second spike. Everything else is a waste of time.
Once you have a proper signal and everything is wired up correctly, the engine will start with no doubt after some tweaking...

Thats why k data production are not good.
Sold as plug and play (yes the connector fits - that’s all), no support nothing.

Read the MS manual please.
